“Be strong enough to face the world each day. Be weak enough to know you cannot do everything alone.” — Unknown

Have you ever been in a situation where you feel stuck? You don’t know what to do, how to do it or where to get support. Maybe you have close friends you can talk to and tell you that it’s all going to be ok, but you still feel alone in the situation.

There are some things in life that you cannot figure out by yourself, and you need to run them through someone you can trust, who is impartial and who can provide you with guidance.

That’s where a life coach comes in. Life coaching is an effective way to improve your life and it can help you overcome obstacles in your career, relationships, finances, and other areas of your life.

All women have something they keep hidden, locked in the darkest corner of their minds and pretend it’s not happening. Maybe it’s excessive shopping, the amount of debt you have, wanting to leave your partner, leave your career, betraying a friendship, feeling betrayed by others, or maybe you’re waiting for The One to arrive so you can finally start living.

All these experiences happen for a reason, but they haunt you when you don’t talk about them and resolve them. Often what you experience comes from a pattern that has been going on throughout your life. And it slowly creeps into all areas of your life and affects it.

If you are having issues in one area of life, chances are you have issues in a few areas…

And that’s where a good life coach comes in.

They Help You Break Bad Habits

We all run on patterns, habits and behavioural tendencies. A life coach will help you identify the pattern, the root of where that pattern comes from and replace it with something better. For example, if you tend to overindulge in biscuits while sitting on the couch watching Netflix, working with a life coach could help you break that habit and create something better, like getting out for a walk or taking an evening yoga class.

They Help You Achieve Goals

While working with a life coach, you will set goals and work towards achieving them. Think about what you want to achieve in your life. Working with a life coach will help you take steps towards achieving that goal. Let’s say you want to improve your relationships; working with a life coach, you could learn better communication techniques to improve your relationships.

They Provide Guidance

A life coach can provide guidance and support as you work on your goals. They will also help clarify what you want to accomplish and why you want to accomplish it. I believe in making goals about your values and about something bigger than you. Perhaps you want improved health so you look good, but also so you’re healthier for your kids.

They Give You Tools

While working on your goal, you will need tools to help you get there. A life coach will give you tools and strategies to help you overcome obstacles, resistance and challenges along the way.

They Can Be Trusted

Life coaching is confidential. Whatever you tell a life coach stays between you and the coach (unless it suggests harm to yourself or others). A life coach is impartial, and they won’t judge you or your experiences. We want to help.

They Offer Support

In addition to helping you achieve your goals, life coaching offers support when you need it. If you feel overwhelmed, stressed or stuck, a life coach can help you identify what’s causing the problem and provide solutions.
